Job summary

Applied Business Communications (ABcom) is recruiting our next Low Voltage Safety Manager. This role develops and coordinates safety and loss control initiatives across the organization, participates in monthly safety meetings, leads accident investigations, and conducts on-site safety training.

The position also oversees drug testing programs and interfaces with customers and contractors to promote best safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Forms, develops, and coordinates the safety and loss control functions for the organization.
• Actively participates in monthly safety meetings.
• Conducts accident investigations and recommends corrective actions based on incidents/trends.
• Visits job sites to support safe and productive behavior and provides feedback to employees on safety practices.
• Performs drug testing (pre-employment, random, with/without cause, post-accident).
• Trains employees and customers in OSHA safety practices.
