Job summary

Applied Control is seeking a Safety Leader to shape and drive a comprehensive safety program across our field operations. You will align safety with company values and business goals while serving as a visible safety champion.

You will lead field visits, coaching, incident investigations, audits, and safety training, building a proactive culture and ensuring regulatory compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of safety leadership experience in field service, construction, manufacturing, or technical operations environments.
• Progressive experience in safety, environmental health and safety, operations safety, or risk management.
• Experience developing and executing safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and practical safety management practices.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear safety vision aligned with company values and goals.
• Act as a safety champion and field leader across the organization.
• Partner with executives to set safety goals, metrics, and improvement plans.
• Lead safety committee and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Conduct field visits, coaching, incident investigations, and audits.
• Develop and deliver safety training and facilitate safety meetings.
