Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking an on-site Safety Leader to oversee daily jobsite safety, mentor field teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. You will partner with project managers and foremen to implement safety programs, conduct audits, and document incidents.

The ideal candidate excels at training, communication, and problem-solving, and is willing to travel to diverse sites while maintaining stringent safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and implement feedback from employees.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and OSHA 30 minimum.
• Ability to access heights via ladders or scaffolding.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Present on project sites to assess safety conditions.
• Work with PMs and field workers to address safety issues.
• Provide formal training and mentoring on safe work practices.
• Recommend disciplinary measures for non-compliance.
• Ensure PPE is worn and site safety rules are followed.
• Conduct safety audits and daily jobsite analyses.
• Assist in writing safety reports.
