Job summary

Beacon Communications is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and continuously improve our company safety program across low-voltage, security, AV, and related systems. The role partners with Operations and Field Leadership to prevent incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safe work every day.

The position offers a salary range of $110,000.00–$125,000.00 plus a $600 monthly vehicle allowance, with travel regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety leadership experience in construction or trades.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and field application.
• Ability to coach field teams and communicate expectations.
• Experience delivering safety training and maintaining documentation.
• Strong written skills for incident reports and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled jobsite safety inspections and document findings.
• Develop, review, and coach teams on JHAs/JSAs and safe work methods.
• Provide safety leadership to field staff and reinforce stop-work authority.
• Coordinate safety training: OSHA topics, PPE, ladder/lift safety and related modules.
• Maintain safety records and documentation (training logs, inspection reports, action logs).
• Manage incident response: notifications, investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions.
• Coordinate workers' compensation reporting and return-to-work with HR/Operations.
• Support customer site access requirements and subcontractor safety oversight.
• Track safety metrics and present trends to leadership.
• Oversee fleet/vehicle safety initiatives with Fleet/Operations.
