Job summary

ADT is seeking Field Technician to install and support low-voltage security systems in homes and small businesses. You will perform wiring, device mounting, testing, and verifications to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

You will educate customers on features, perform troubleshooting, and maintain a safe workspace while adhering to safety standards. This role requires independent work ethic, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
