Job summary

LINX seeks a Data Center Foreman - Low Voltage to lead crews on hyperscale data center and commercial projects in the USA. You will own daily execution of structured cabling and fiber scopes, train technicians, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality on every site.

You will report to the Project Manager, drive productivity, coordinate materials, and maintain client-facing professionalism while mentoring a growing field team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on low voltage or structured cabling installation experience across copper and fiber
• 1–2 years in a field leadership role overseeing crew productivity and quality
• Experience with hyperscale data center clients such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of low voltage technicians on hyperscale data center and commercial jobsites, set daily goals, manage productivity and solve problems in real time
• Handle workforce planning, crew scheduling, labor tracking, timesheet completion and coordination with contract workers
• Train technicians in installation methods, test equipment operation, safety procedures and quality standards
• Identify and address on-site personnel issues and escalate when appropriate
• Own daily execution of structured cabling, fiber optic and low voltage infrastructures and monitor progress against schedule
• Manage MACs, material staging and documentation flows to PM and estimating team
• Maintain on-site materials management and coordinate deliveries
• Operate and interpret test equipment and ensure documentation meets project specs and client standards
• Lead daily safety compliance and enforce PPE and site-specific safety plans
• Maintain professional communication with clients and GCs on site
• Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and post-project reviews
• Escalate customer concerns or schedule risks to PM promptly
• Demonstrate ability to lead, train and hold accountable a crew of 10–20 technicians
