Job summary

LINX is seeking a Low Voltage Foreman to lead crews on hyperscale data center and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role where you train technicians, own daily execution of structured cabling and fiber scopes, and ensure safety and quality on fast-moving jobsites.

You will report to the Project Manager and manage crew productivity, materials, and documentation while maintaining professional client communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on low voltage or structured cabling installation experience.
• 1-2 years in a field leadership role—leading technicians and ensuring productivity and quality.
• Experience with hyperscale data center clients such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of low voltage technicians on active hyperscale data center and commercial construction jobsites—set daily goals and manage productivity.
• Handle workforce planning for projects—crew scheduling, labor tracking, timesheet completion, and coordination with contract workers.
• Train technicians in installation methods, test equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards to develop the crew.
• Identify and address personnel issues on-site and escalate when appropriate.
• Own daily execution of structured cabling, fiber optic, and low voltage infrastructure scopes.
• Monitor progress against schedule, track costs, and adjust crew deployment and material staging to protect timelines.
• Manage Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) with proper documentation.
• Oversee on-site materials management: ordering, deliveries, warehouse communication.
