Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to service lottery retailer locations. You will install, repair, relocate and maintain equipment ranging from communication hardware to POS and vending devices, while providing training and preventative maintenance to customers.

The role involves completing scheduled and unscheduled service calls, delivering exceptional customer service, and documenting issues and resolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Background check, drug test, and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to travel overnight if needed.
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience troubleshooting computer software and hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Strong customer satisfaction focus and ability to respond to feedback quickly.
• Self-starter with motivation and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings; overtime as needed.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Complete service calls at lottery retailer locations (installs, removals, PMs).
• Provide positive customer experience using technical skills.
• Communicate service value and match products to needs.
• Perform field repairs and installations with minimal supervision.
• Maintain vehicle, logs, and reports; escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Data Center to ensure timely service delivery.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail location and with equipment.
• Train customers on equipment and services; support peers as needed.
