Job summary

Bechtel in Lake Charles, LA is seeking an experienced Startup Specialist to support precommissioning, commissioning and startup activities for Louisiana LNG project. You will assist with installation configuration validation, work package development, and turnover coordination to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years (or 6–9 years) of relevant experience in startup, commissioning, and operations.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior Precommissioning, commissioning and startup experience.
• Understands detailed phases of startup, operations, or maintenance for a project.

Responsibilities

• Assigned as LOTO Coordinator, responsible for administering the Lock Out Tag Out program.
• Provides coordination between Startup System Specialists, Operations and LOTO personnel.
• Work hours as required, including shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
