Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Startup/Commissioning professional for the Lake Charles LNG project in Louisiana. You will assist with technical direction, installation configuration validation, and work package development to ensure equipment and systems operate per plan.

You will participate in planning, turnover coordination, material management, quality control, and environmental safety and health aspects, aligning with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years in related work.
• Experience with precommissioning, commissioning and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CSU execution planning and sequencing for assigned areas.
• Prepare Startup Work Packages and Test Work Packages.
• Coordinate turnover walkdowns with CSU and field engineers.
• Initiate requisitions and track field purchases and equipment.
• Conduct system walkdowns to validate configuration against design.
• Identify and elevate ES&H issues in the field.
• Coordinate with Startup System Specialists and Operations personnel.
