Job summary

Bechtel seeks a project field engineer to provide field engineering support, work planning, material management, quantity verification, and quality control on US Gulf Coast LNG projects. The role involves coordinating system turnover, ensuring safety, and adhering to project requirements across multiple sites including Lake Charles, LA and Brownsville, TX.

Required is a bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of construction and commissioning processes, and proficiency

• 2–5 years of relevant experience (or 6–9 years if applicable).
• Knowledge of construction and commissioning processes relevant to completion and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Participates in completions certification and turnover for the project through construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Monitors contractor certification deliverables for quality and schedule adherence.
• Develops reports as directed by supervision and generates periodic updates.
• Coordinates turnover packages and documentation for construction and CSU teams.
• Maintains turnover processes and ensures data entry into the systems completion database.
• Assists with punch list databases, reports, and submittal checks.
