Job summary

Bechtel in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Startup Discipline Lead to manage startup planning and activities on the Louisiana LNG project. You will collaborate with project management, engineering, construction, and client teams to integrate the startup plan and meet schedules.

The role requires extensive experience in precommissioning, commissioning, startup or operations, including supervisory responsibilities, and the ability to read electrical schematics and PFDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in precommissioning, commissioning, startup or facility operations, including supervisory roles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring, and PFD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup activities for assigned areas on LNG project.
• Coordinate startup with PM, engineering, construction and clients.
• Identify risks and track progress against plans.
• Prepare portions of operations manuals.
• Estimate staffing and schedules for tasks.
