Job summary

ADESA is seeking an energetic Lot Operations Associate to support vehicle movements and inventory accuracy. You will drive and operate equipment to prepare vehicles for sale and ensure readiness for auction day.

The role requires the ability to navigate fast-paced outdoor environments, handle lifting tasks, and maintain precise records. Prior automotive or auction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes and sizes, including tow trucks and forklifts.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
• Forklift certification obtained or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support lot operations by preparing and staging vehicles for sale, including stickers and marking.
• Move vehicles using a lot tow truck or forklift and operate the service truck.
• Record vehicle movements using electronic devices.
• Assist with vehicle readiness tasks (fluids, air, status) and maintain lot organization.
• Communicate with shop and operations teams to ensure inventory flow from check-in to sale.
• Provide customer service support and coordinate with admin teams for sale day activities.
