Job summary

ADESA is seeking a motivated team member to operate motor vehicles on-site to support auction activities. The role focuses on moving and staging vehicles across the lot under leadership guidance.

Responsibilities include coordinating lot driving, monitoring workflow, and maintaining safety and accuracy. Candidates should be 18+, with a valid driver’s license and comfort with computer systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes/models/sizes.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lot driving activities by guiding drivers to ensure the correct vehicles are moved and staged efficiently.
• Monitor workflow across the lot, provide direction as needed, and support overall operational accuracy.
• Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious driving habits.
• Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
• Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
• Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
• Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and notify managers of driving-related incidents or hazards.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws are followed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.
