Job summary

ADESA is seeking a hands-on Lot Operations Support to assist with vehicle movements, staging for sale, and inventory control across our auction sites. You will drive the service truck and forklift, perform vehicle readiness tasks, and coordinate with shop and admin teams to keep sale days running smoothly.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes, including tow trucks, forklifts, and the service truck.
Automotive or auction experience preferred.
Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Lot Operations Support: Support lot operations by preparing and staging vehicles for sale, including stickering and moving vehicles with a tow truck or forklift.
Inventory Accuracy: Scan the lot and record vehicle movements on electronic devices.
Vehicle Readiness: Assist with jumping vehicles, adding fluids, air to tires, and verifying status.
Property Management: Remove personal property from vehicles.
Operational Flow: Ensure efficient flow from check-in to auction sale line.
Customer & Admin Support: Provide customer service and coordinate with admin teams.
Vehicle Identification: Confirm mileage, make, year, and VIN.
Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas safe and report hazards.
General Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
