Job summary

ADESA seeks a hands-on Lot Operations Support teammate to assist with vehicle movement, staging for sale, and inventory accuracy at our Manville location. You will drive the service truck, tow truck, and forklift to help maintain vehicle readiness and smooth sale day operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and comfort using computer systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely drive tow trucks, forklifts, and service trucks.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred; forklift certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Lot Operations Support: prepare and stage vehicles for sale; drive service/tow trucks and forklift.
• Inventory Accuracy: scan the lot; record vehicle movements with devices.
• Vehicle Readiness: assist with jumping, fluids, tires, and general prep.
• Property Management: remove personal property from vehicles.
• Operational Flow: coordinate with shop/ops for inventory flow to sale line.
• Customer & Admin Support: assist customers and coordinate with admin teams.
• Vehicle Identification: verify mileage, year, and VIN for records.
• Safety & Maintenance: maintain clean, safe work areas; report hazards.
• General Duties: other tasks as assigned by manager.
