Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Lot Operations to oversee vehicle check-in, inspection, imaging, staging, and movement at the Manheim Central site. You will lead a small team, ensure data accuracy in AS400, and drive high-quality service and safety across the lot operations.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in automotive/auction environments, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage staffing and training, while maintaining a customer-focused mindset and adherence

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or higher with related experience.
Strong communication skills across teams and departments.
Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze data and metrics.
Preferred experience in arbitration, inspections, or NAAA standards.
Experience in the automotive or auction industry.

Responsibilities

Oversee all vehicle check-in, inspection, and imaging functions.
Supervise lot operations including staging, vehicle flow, and movement to sale lanes.
Lead, coach, and develop check-in, inspection, and lot staff; manage scheduling and training.
Plan staffing based on auction volume and KPIs; monitor performance and drive improvements.
Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
