Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to provide a visible presence at store entrances and throughout the sales floor, deterring theft and maintaining a safe environment for Associates and Customers. The role collaborates with Store Leadership to ensure compliance with LP directives and minimizes shortages, while upholding Ross values.

The specialist will greet customers, monitor for suspicious behavior, and participate in training programs, conference calls, and district meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail supervisor experience or equivalent training.
• One year of loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and secure store environment, adhering to Loss Prevention directives.
• Provide visible, courteous customer service and greet customers as they enter/exit the store.
• Identify and address potential theft indicators and report findings to Store Leadership/LP.
• Support training and development of Associates; participate in district meetings and recognition programs.
