Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Loss Prevention professional to provide a visible presence at store entrances/exits, deter theft, and ensure a safe environment for customers and Associates. The role emphasizes greeting customers, maintaining a professional dress, and partnering with leadership to minimize shortages.

Responsibilities include monitoring for suspicious behavior, supporting Loss Prevention initiatives, and upholding compliance with company policies and federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or equivalent training.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with federal and state security laws and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Greets Customers and monitors entrances/exits for potential safety issues.
• Supports store leadership and loss prevention initiatives.
• Represents the Ross brand with professional appearance.
