Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Security Specialist to maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances and on the sales floor, wearing the company vest and following Code 50 procedures.

You will partner with Store Leadership, deter theft, train Associates on shortage reduction, and uphold Ross values of diversity and teamwork.

Strong communication, customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure store environment; monitor entrances/exits and the sales floor.
• Provide visible command presence and greet customers with eye contact and courtesy.
• Partner with Store Leadership to minimize shortage and support Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Represent and protect the Ross brand and adhere to company dress code.
