Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead in Colton to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk areas while delivering a safe store environment.

You will partner with store leadership to train associates, report incidents, and promote shortage reduction programs with confident leadership and a customer-friendly approach. The role requires managing sensitive situations, coordinating with law enforcement as needed, and supporting semi-annual inventory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors with a strong presence, dress code, and energetic greeting
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail and strong communication
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote high-quality service
• Display knowledge of shortage areas and programs to identify and reduce theft
• Gather indicators of external theft and coordinate with leadership and local law enforcement as needed
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Shortage Control Associates and assist in inventory processes
