Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk areas while promoting a safe and welcoming store environment.

You will engage with customers and associates with a strong, energetic presence and support store leadership with shortage education. Responsibilities include deterring dishonest behavior, maintaining a secure store, coordinating with leadership, supporting audits, and assisting in inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Deterrence of dishonest behaviors throughout the store by demonstrating a command presence.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Engage positively with customers and associates in high-risk areas.
• Support training and development of shortage reduction associates.
• Assist store leadership with inventory processes and store audits.
• Support Asset Protection programs and internal controls.
• Onboard and train associates in shortage reduction processes.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
