Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in high shortage areas while ensuring a safe, welcoming store environment. You will engage customers and associates with a strong, energetic greeting and eye contact.

You will partner with store and field leadership to train Shortage Control Associates, identify theft indicators, and drive shortage education across the team. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Deterrent to dishonest behaviors by demonstrating command presence and professional conduct.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote safe loss-prevention practices.
• Identify and report theft indicators; coordinate with store leadership and local law enforcement as needed.
• Support training and development of Shortage Control Associates and participate in semi-annual inventory initiatives.
