Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will stand at store entrances, greet customers, and remain vigilant to reduce opportunities for theft.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and exits to deter theft.
• Greet customers with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Assist in bag and package checks adhering to safety standards.
