Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering great customer service. You will monitor entrances, know theft trends, greet customers warmly, and report suspicious activity to leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment
• Confidentiality required
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers
• Energetic greeting and positive demeanor

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and greet every customer entering or exiting the store
• Monitor entrance/exit and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to Manager on Duty
• Train associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices
• Support store leadership in creating a secure shopping environment
