Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help secure our stores and deliver excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report theft incidents while upholding our core values and dress standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making required.
• Positive demeanor, energetic greeting, and strong teamwork expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, loud, friendly greeting and eye contact.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
