Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service in our New Jersey store.

You will greet customers, monitor entrances, and support store leadership with loss-prevention initiatives. In this role you will engage with customers and associates, follow safety standards, and participate in briefings on theft trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail.
• Knowledge of shortage reduction programs or loss prevention a plus.
• Strong communication and observational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a friendly greeting.
• Monitor entrance and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Report incidents to Manager on Duty and support security procedures.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction processes.
