Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., seeks a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft and support store safety at the San Bernardino store. You will wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers, and respond to inquiries while partnering with store teams and LP to protect the brand.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and have 0–2 years in retail or security. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and extensive benefits in a dynamic off-price retail environment.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise judgment.

• 0–2 years retail or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers courteously and assist as needed.
• Stand at the front of the store or in a department when required.
• Refer customers to management or customer service via radio for assistance.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
