Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Marshalls location in Riverside, CA is hiring a Loss Prevention team member to deter theft, support store safety, and deliver a positive customer experience.

You will wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers with courtesy, and coordinate with store management and LP to maintain security and brand protection. Ideal candidates will communicate well, make sound judgments, and manage time effectively while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and risk awareness.
• Shows initiative and can perform with minimal supervision.
• Excels at prioritizing tasks and managing time in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Experience in retail or security roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports District Loss Prevention Manager and store management by executing core responsibilities to deter loss and wearing a body worn camera.
• Supports a positive customer shopping experience and maintains strong store partnerships with teams and loss prevention.
• Exercises sound judgment to ensure safety of customers and staff, protecting the company brand.
• Adheres to company policies and supports company culture and values.
• Maintains professional stance at the front of the store.
• Acts as visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty.
• Reviews the Store Emergency Response Guide and follows policies.
• Wears the approved uniform and body worn camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Position at the front of the store or in a department; refer customers to management or CS via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform closing safety sweep with management present.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management and perform other duties as assigned.
