Job summary

Newrez seeks a Loss Mitigation Supervisor in Houston to lead a team of specialists, guiding management and staff to minimize losses on delinquent mortgages. You will review financial documents and reports to approve appropriate customer resolutions, track performance, and train new staff while ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and mortgage servicing knowledge, with an emphasis on process improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Loss Mitigation.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; knowledge of mortgage processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for management and staff and mentor team to improve processes.
• Oversee analysis of financial statements, tax returns, credit and title reports to determine customer resolutions.
• Track and report employee performance and provide monthly feedback.
• Oversee training of new employees and maintain training materials.
• Ensure compliance with policies and approve Loss Mitigation workouts.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and expenses; optimize staffing and costs.
