Job summary

BSI Financial seeks a Loss Mitigation Single Point of Contact to coordinate between the loss mitigation operations team and borrowers, ensuring viable foreclosure-avoidance solutions. You will identify programs such as Modification, Short Sale, GNMA, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA and settlements while maintaining compliance.

You will maintain borrower communications, ensure accurate account data, and facilitate transitions to agreed terms with a focus on timely close and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Prior collections or loss mitigation experience is required.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing platforms and investor systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Loss Mitigation borrowers and third parties to review options to avoid foreclosure.
• Familiar with FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA and FHLMC Loss Mitigation practices and waterfall options.
• Initiate contact with borrowers to follow up on forbearance plans and documentation.
