Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loss Mitigation Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee a team of QA specialists focused on loan workouts and compliance with government agency, insurer, and investor guidelines. The role requires leadership in loss mitigation and underwriting within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ leadership/management experience.
• 3–5 years’ underwriting loss mitigation or mortgage loan origination experience.
• Knowledge of PMI, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA servicing guidelines.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations (RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA).
• Experience with loan processing, underwriting, and/or closing procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word/Excel).
• Fidelity/MSP/LPS/BITB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loss mitigation loan workout quality for the entire serviced portfolio.
• Lead a team of up to 8+ Loss Mitigation Quality Assurance Specialists.
• Assist team with underwriting and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Keep guidelines up to date with government agency and insurer requirements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly reviews and calibrations.
• Improve and implement department processes and policies.
• Review borrower documents and compute financial information.
• Review title reports, loan documents and valuation information.
• Review net present value models for each file and ensure input quality.
• Ensure record maintenance quality of loan workout files.
• Support RoundPoint’s compliance commitments.
