Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loss Mitigation Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a team ensuring loan workouts comply with government agency, insurer, and investor guidelines. The role focuses on quality review, process improvement, and policy implementation within a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in leadership and loss mitigation underwriting, along with a strong knowledge of PMI and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' leadership/management experience.
• 3–5 years' underwriting loss mitigation or mortgage loan origination experience.
• Knowledge of PMI, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA servicing guidelines.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations (RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Fidelity/MSP/LPS/BITB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loss mitigation loan workout quality for the entire serviced portfolio.
• Lead and manage a team of Loss Mitigation Quality Assurance Specialists (up to 8+).
• Assist team with underwriting and ensure loan workouts adhere to guidelines.
• Keep guidelines up to date with government agency and insurer guidelines.
• Conduct regular reviews/calibrations of the team (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Review borrower documents, title reports, loan documents, and valuation information.
• Review net present value models for each loan workout file and ensure input quality.
• Maintain records for loan workout files and ensure compliance with company commitments.
