Job Objective
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic analysis, repair, and routine maintenance of looms. Maintain safety, quality, and delivery standards. Complete necessary paperwork and perform other duties as assigned following Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform diagnostic analysis, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and routine maintenance of looms.
- Make adjustments to ensure woven tape meets specifications.
- Start-up looms after style changes or overhaul.
- Repair breaks and smashes, draw-in, perform style changes, and ensure construction conforms to style sheets.
- Clean equipment and work area as required.
- Follow control characteristics from Control Plan.
- Accountable for personal and team goals.
- Fabricate small simple parts.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex machinery including electrical and mechanical components, or a two-year trade school degree.
- Certification within 30 days for Hazardous Communications and LO-TO.
- Certification within 90 days to operate power trucks.
- Ability to read and interpret dials, gauges, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
- Ability to complete paperwork and data entry.
- Ability to wear hearing protection and perform essential job functions to standard.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to self-pace learning via various methods.
