Salary - $230.00 per day
Job Goal : To prepare students for careers in the Electrical field, and to instill the employability and professionalism skills needed to be successful in the workplace. The Team & Learning Environment : The Electrical instructor using both teaching and industry experience to teach students the technical skills they need to be competitive in the workforce. The department is overseen by the Director of Career and Technical Education and the Assistant Director, who along with the teachers, works with an Advisory Committee of area business leaders so that our curriculum and equipment align with industry demand. New Teacher Support : Teachers who are new to the profession will be matched with a veteran teacher who will serve as a mentor and provide guidance on lesson planning, behavior management, assessments and grading, etc. Qualifications : Eligible applicants EITHER possess a Chapter 74 Electrical license from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education OR meet qualifications for licensure.
