Qualifications

• Eligible applicants possess a Chapter 74 Electrical license from the DESE OR meet licensure qualifications.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five years of full-time employment experience directly related to Electricity.
• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license.
• Valid Massachusetts Master Electrician license.
• Passing scores on Electricity written and performance tests; and one of the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test or the Communication and Literacy Skills test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction of Electrical per departmental objectives and MA CVTE Curriculum Frameworks.
• Utilize MA Electrical frameworks in instruction.
• Maintain a professional classroom/shop environment emphasizing safety and work ethic.
• Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings.
• Set and pursue goals aligned with district and school requirements.
• Assist the Director of CTE with program improvement and equipment/supply purchases.
