Job summary

Ipswich Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for the Paul F. Doyon Memorial School (PK-5). You will deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEPs and work within inclusive settings to support student progress.

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to implement evidence-based strategies and monitor outcomes in accordance with MA DESE regulations and IDEA.

Qualifications

• Licensed educator in Massachusetts Elementary Moderate Disabilities (PreK-5) or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in special education or related field.
• Experience with elementary students with diverse learning needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with IEPs.
• Deliver services in inclusive, co-teaching, small-group, and/ or individual settings as per IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings.
