Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Long Term Substitute - Special Education Teacher for the Pentucket Regional School District in Merrimac, MA. Qualifications

• Possession of a special education teaching license through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• SEI Endorsement required.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting is necessary.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and weaknesses.
• Collaborate with parents and educators to develop IEPs.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligning with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress.
