Polaris Rehabilitation & Care Center in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team. You will provide and oversee direct resident care, serve as a clinical leader, and collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and families to promote positive outcomes.

This role offers hands-on patient care with opportunities to mentor staff, participate in admissions and transitions, and contribute to a patient-centered care environment committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN license in good standing in Wyoming.
• CPR/BLS certification, as required.
• Strong clinical assessment and nursing judgment skills.
• Ability to supervise and coach nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care per care plans and standards.
• Complete assessments and monitor changes in residents.
• Safely administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise CNAs and support staff during shifts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Report changes promptly to physicians and families.
• Educate residents and families on care plans.
• Respond to urgent situations using clinical judgment.
