This role emphasizes food safety, adherence to dietary restrictions, maintaining a clean kitchen, and customer service with residents, staff, and guests. Previous cooking experience preferred and a high school diploma; ServSafe certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
