Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Senior Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team. You will govern LTC models, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with company, industry, and actuarial standards.

Your primary focus includes valuation, projections, and experience teams, with opportunities to expand to broader governance areas. A strong LTC actuarial background and professional credentials are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably with LTC insurance.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections, and experience in actuarial processes.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
