Job summary

Sysco is seeking a driver to safely and efficiently transport product from the warehouse by tractor-trailer, following customer invoices and company standards. This long-haul Linehaul position travels to PA, FL, OH and a few other states, with trips lasting 2 to 3 days. It requires operating a 3-axle tractor with a 45'–48' trailer, and ensuring DOT logs and safety protocols are followed. The role includes overnight work, weekends, and overtime to meet customers’ needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school may be accepted in lieu of (or in addition to) high school diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required; insurability to operate a vehicle is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations and ensures timely delivery per route; loads and unloads as needed.
• Completes all required paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, bill of ladings) accurately and timely.
• Maintains food safety protocols and proper temperature controls in the delivery vehicle.
