Job summary

Sysco is seeking a driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, following company standards and invoices. The long-haul linehaul role requires overnight travel to PA, FL, OH and other states, often 2–3 days away from home.

The position emphasizes safety, DOT regulatory compliance, load/unload duties, and accurate paperwork. Candidates need a valid Class A CDL and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Driving school completion accepted in lieu of diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurability required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product per route and maintains timely delivery.
• Complete paperwork per guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, invoices).
• Maintain food safety protocols in delivery vehicle.
• Communicate deviations to management and serve customers courteously.
