Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced truck driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations across long-haul routes, following DOT regulations and company standards.

Position involves 2–3 days out, overnight schedules, and potential overtime. Requires a valid Class A CDL, insurability, and the ability to operate a tractor-trailer across diverse terrains and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to high school diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer location according to route and performs load/unload per specifications.
• Completes paperwork per DOT and company guidelines; maintains logs and delivery documentation.
• Adheres to food safety protocols and proper temperatures in delivery vehicle.
• Follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to management.
