Job summary

Sysco Illinois is seeking a tractor-trailer driver to transport product from the warehouse to customer locations in compliance with invoices and company standards.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL; completion of a tractor-trailer driving program is acceptable as an alternative to a high school diploma. This long-haul position includes trips to PA, FL, OH and other states, with 2–3 days out on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu of diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL required; must be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures timely delivery.
• Loads/unloads per customer specifications and maintains accurate paperwork.
• Adheres to DOT logs, inspections, and safety protocols.
• Communicates route changes to management and maintains good customer relations.
• Works scheduled hours and may require overnight travel to multiple states.
