Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Transportation Operations Coordinator in Addison, TX to drive carrier and service provider performance and ensure low-cost, high-service transportation. You will coordinate with customers, 3pls, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to meet OTIF KPIs and orchestrate inbound/outbound movements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1–2 years in logistics, strong data analysis, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1-2 years experience in supply chain, logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience in logistics software and systems, such as ERP systems, TMS, and WMS.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Self-starter with the ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Identify and address issues impacting customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers, 3pls, carriers, warehouses to streamline supply chain and meet KPIs/OKRs.
• Arrange transportation considering cost, transit time, and mode.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for hub and spoke locations.
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation for warehouse activities.
• Provide data analytics to improve transportation efficiency for assigned location.
• Collaborate with multiple parties to resolve issues.
• Serve as liaison between warehouse vendor and carrier.
• Support domestic and international shipments and ensure carrier awareness of requirements.
