Job summary

Expeditors in the United States is seeking a Transportation Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth logistics by coordinating carriers, facilities, and service providers to meet KPIs and OTIF.

You will build strong customer relationships, analyze transportation costs, and drive performance through data analytics and collaboration with warehouses, freight forwarders, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1–2 years experience in supply chain, logistics or transportation.
• Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Identify issues impacting customer satisfaction and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with customers, 3pls, carriers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to meet KPIs (OTIF).
• Arrange transportation considering cost, transit time, and mode; coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for hub and spoke locations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries and resolve bottlenecks in shipping and receiving processes.
