Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily start-up meetings, ensure safety and efficiency, and coordinate material handling with SAP WM.

The role requires experience in forklift operation, ERP systems, and strong leadership in a high-volume environment; the successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and maintain inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in high-volume work settings.
• Experience safely operating material handling equipment (forklift, tuggers, dock stockers).
• Experience with SAP WM module is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer focus and work ethic; no shortcuts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by following safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Leads daily start up meetings to communicate goals and announcements.
• Ensures production output meets goals and adheres to policies.
• Coordinates manpower in case of employee absence.
• Interprets job orders and assigns duties to Material Handlers.
• Promotes teamwork and open communication.
• Develops Material Handlers through cross-training.
• Maintains inventory integrity and reduces waste.
• Operates forklift to support Material Handlers and loading/unloading trucks.
• Works with Warehouse Supervisor to improve efficiency.
• Ensures 6S is implemented in the warehouse.
