Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking an Inventory and Freight Specialist to coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work with SAP and TMS, analyze transport options, and support cost control initiatives.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and timely communication to customers and internal teams while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or supply chain preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of air, ocean, import/export logistics and procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT, customs, TSA and related import/export regulations.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems for shipping and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments via all transport modes.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations.
• Maintain and audit shipping documents and records.
• Consolidate and optimize shipping methods to reduce costs.
• Support cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Provide backup support and cross-functional collaboration.
