Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for Shipping & Receiving to lead a team and ensure safe, accurate, and on-time material flow through dock operations.

You will own inbound receiving and outbound shipping, drive continuous improvement, manage staffing and SAP/WMS transactions, and partner with production, quality, and customer service to meet priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising people and coordinating processes in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control processes.
• Proven ability to drive cost efficiency and profitability.
• Proficiency with SAP/WMS and MS Office applications.
• Hands-on leader with strong ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a strong safety culture in Shipping and Receiving and leads investigations for incidents.
• Leads, coaches, and develops team leads and associates to meet goals.
• Owns dock operations for inbound receiving and outbound shipping to ensure on-time, accurate movement.
• Monitors performance metrics like dock-to-stock time and on-time shipments.
• Plans staffing to meet fluctuating volumes and priorities.
• Ensures accurate SAP/WMS transactions and real-time inventory integrity.
• Partners with Scheduling, Planning, Production, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Oversees dock scheduling, vendor and carrier performance, and compliance.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Maintains 6S in all areas and ensures proper training and certifications.
